The MarbleTones is the fifties style bluesband based in the Netherlands that has been rocking the house at many venues and festivals, from Germany to the San Francisco Bay Area (USA) and from Finland to Italy.

The MarbleTones were founded in 2001 and are back after a period of only playing outside of Holland.
There bandname comes from the famous Marble amplifiers.... 

2018 03 MarbleTones Troadkastn Festival

Within a period of five years they played at 200 clubs and held an extensive European and American tour. The MarbleTones played on blues festivals like Drijf Inn Festival Giethoorn, De Koninck Festival Delft, Brielle Blues, Blues 89 Leerdam and well known clubs like Meisenfrei Bremen (Germany), Ain’t Nothin but the Blues Club in London (U.K.) Maloe Melo in Amsterdam, J.J’s Blues Club San Jose (CA), Lou’s Pier 47, Biscuits and Blues San Francisco (CA). The MarbleTones opened shows for famous American Blues bands such as The Imperial Crowns (LA), Sean Costello (Atlanta) en Henry Butler (New Orleans).

In february 2018 they will tour again in the UK and one of the highlights there is a gig on Saturday evening during Broadstairs Blues Bash.

This takes place in Broadstairs, a beautiful small town of near the sea, where over 60 bands are playing this year.

Singer bass player Anne-Maarten ‘ Hills’ van Heuvelen entertains the audience while laying down a solid groove.

Harmonica player Ben ‘The Thumb’ Bouman plays mad and virtuoso solo’s while jumping around and tube amp.

Professor A.J. Folkerts plays some steady guitar and is all about the tasteful solo’s.

The newest member of the band is drummer Paolo de Stigter, also know as "The Groove Machine", who joined the band in march 2017. So he celebrates his 1st year membership of this band in Artishock ;-)
Young of age but with an old bluesheart!!

Saturday 31th of March they play there fifties and sixties style authentic swing blues at Artishock Soest where you can dance until you drop....
